Curriculum

The Curriculum That Makes Us A Blue Ribbon School

St. Cecelia Interparochial Catholic School provides a rigorous Blue Ribbon school academic curriculum for all students based on the Diocese of St. Petersburg Standards and Benchmarks and the Florida Standards. These standards are aligned with college and career readiness expectations: They are clear, understandable, and consistent. The standards include rigorous content and application of knowledge through higher-order thinking skills and have helped us become a Blue Ribbon school.

St. Cecelia School is an authorized International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (IBMYP). IB World Schools share a common educational philosophy and commitment to providing a high quality, challenging education recognized world-wide for excellence. Only schools authorized by the International Baccalaureate Organization as IB World Schools can offer any of its academic programmes. For further information regarding the IB and its programmes visit http://www.ibo.org.

Our faculty and staff work diligently to enhance our curriculum by implementing successful instructional practices, differentiating within the classroom, and bringing new methods of teaching and engaging students. This results in an environment of success and a desire for learning that has culminated in St. Cecelia becoming in Blue Ribbon school.
