To participate in the VPK portion of Pre-Kindergarten, you will need to complete a VPK application and visit the website at http://elcpinellas.net/downloads-families.php  to register on-line or call (727) 548-1439 to find a location close to you to register in person. This is in addition to completion of the St. Cecelia School application.

In order for your child to receive VPK funding, you need to adhere to the attendance policy that follows:

The VPK program allows for no more than 20% of total VPK hours for absences.  This breaks down to roughly 36 absences during the school calendar year for 2023-2024.  The teachers will notify the office if excessive absences become an issue, the office will contact you.

Should your child exceed the total absences allowed, they will be withdrawn from the VPK program at our site. You may choose to continue your child’s education with us by using our private pay program. Details and costs of such will be conveyed should this become necessary.

It is also required that parents verify their child’s attendance each month by signing a Parental Choice Long Form the last day of each month or no later than the 3rd day of the following month.  St. Cecelia School cannot amend its VPK attendance policy for its VPK program duration of the current school year VPK contract calendars.

Extended day program is available for the convenience of working parents. Extended Day runs from 3:00-6:00pm. The fee for extended day is $2,100 annually, or $210 per month if paid over 10 months or $175 if paid over 12 months.  Occasional drop in is $17 per day.  Extended day registration fee is $65 per family.
