Alumni
St. Cecelia School has an active Alumni association which was started in 2007 and currently has over 3000 members. A 60th anniversary celebration was held at the school in 2009 which was attended by close to 200 alumni. A 5K Race was organized in 2010 by the alumni and recently had its second annual running. Proceeds from the run are used for tuition assistance and scholarships.
Students that graduate from St. Cecelia School attend various local high schools with the largest percentage of students attending Clearwater Central Catholic High School (CCCHS). Many of the students attending public schools are enrolled in magnet programs including the Medical and International Baccalaureate (IB) magnet which have selective admission requirements.
Students graduating from St. Cecelia School excel in high school as conveyed by the teachers at CCCHS. The valedictorian and salutatorian at CCCHS for both the IB program and traditional program in 2009 were St. Cecelia school graduates. Several of the St. Cecelia School graduates have received the prestigious award of National Merit Scholars.
