HOME AND SCHOOL ASSOCIATION

The Home and School Association is a formal parent/teacher group at St. Cecelia School. Elected and appointed officers serve as president, vice president, secretary and treasurer. The role of the association is to serve as a liaison between the parents and the school for purposes of fund-raising, social events, and student enrichment/activities/field trips. All parents at St. Cecelia School are members of Home & School, and are encouraged to participate by attending monthly meetings and supporting the various functions. Dues are collected each year. Home and School also supports student enrichment by providing classroom aides, field trip chaperone's, room parents, honor roll breakfasts and principal luncheons.

Major Fundraisers: Gift Wrap, Golf Tournament,Gala Auction, Boosterthon

Soft Fundraisers: Christmas Greenery, Market Day, Box Tops, Albertsons, Target, Cantina

Social Events: Fall Picnic, Italian Night, Fish Fry, Fat Tuesday, Bunco, Father/Daughter Dance, Grandparents Day, Trick or Trunk

The list below indicates the total number of hours St. Cecelia School families have volunteered. Parents are required each year to volunteer 24 hours per family. In 2009-2010 we had 320 total families at St. Cecelia School. Many of our school families well exceed their commitment.
